40th Years of History
Brunswick/Mercury start to manufacture Quicksilver inflatable boats in Europe.
The company launches a line of Quicksilver aluminum and fiberglass boats.
Quicksilver introduces the Commander series which will become iconic.
Brunswick acquires Arvor French fishing boats and markets it under the Quicksilver brand.
Quicksilver launched their website on the internet, offering now 30 models in various categories: Cabin, Open, Cruiser, Pilothouse and the Commander, including the Commander 900 as the new flagship model.
Quicksilver Classic 20 is a specific model of a classic-style runabout motorboat that as manufactured by Quicksilver from approximately 2004 to 2008.
Quicksilver introduces 4 new models: 555, 635, 800 Commander and an 890 Cruiser. It also offers the luxury of hydraulic steering on nearly all models and now has a range of 10 categories and 37 models.
Activ & Captur range are launched. Turning point for Quicksilver with the creation of a dedicated PD&E team (designers, engineers and a naval architect) at Florida.
Quicksilver 675 Open wins the prestigious European Powerboat of the year award.
Motor Boat of the Year Award for the 645 Cabin.
- Quicksilver wins the best stand award at Oslo boat show.
- Quicksilver 705 Cruiser wins the Motor Boat of the Year Award in London.
Introducing Smart Edition, a variety of options that are most frequently requested.
Boat Builder Award (Network expansion outside Europe).
- Quicksilver launches an entirely renewed open range.
- Quicksilver 755 Sundeck wins the Moteur Boat Award.
- The website introduces a boat configurator with a quote creator.
- The flagship model 875 Sundeck was launched.
- The Quicksilver 605 Open wins the 2017 Moteur Boat Award.
Quicksilver 875 Sundeck wins the Slovenian Motorboat of the Year Award.
- Venture Group under Brunswick is established to synergize resources with Bayliner.
- Brunswick acquired Freedom Boat Club. Expansion is set in various EU countries with Quicksilver being its main supplier of vessels.
- COVID hits globally. Boat shows are cancelled and Quicksilver launched virtual versions of the larger EU boat shows.
- The 805 Pilothouse wins the Best of Boats 2020 Award.
- The production facility in Portugal at Vila Nova opened a new facility for expansion.
- Brunswick acquires NAVICO Group who is already a supplier for Quicksilver on SIMRAD technology.
- The 705 Pilothouse wins the Best of Boats 2021 Award.
A new brand identity is introduced, and Quicksilver launches a 3D configurator on their website.
- Quicksilver introduces the NAVAN brand and launches 2 new premium models in Europe who starts to operate the year after under the SeaRay division.
- The Quicksilver 805 Open is launched and setting the new stage for future design of Quicksilver boats.
- Quicksilver 805 Pilothouse awarded with the Boat of the year Japan 2023.
- Quicksilver introduces the Exclusive Deluxe Line for its cruiser range.
- Quicksilver has now a range of 5 categories and 16 models.
Quicksilver celebrates its 40th Anniversary together with a network of more than 300 dealers and distributors in 70 countries.
