COVID-19 - Navigating Towards Calmer Waters

As we learn how to cope with these unprecedented circumstances, we must all re-focus on caring for ourselves and our loved ones. You, our customers, matter deeply to us, because you make what we do possible. Whether you are impacted directly or indirectly by the COVID-19 virus, you are in our thoughts.

Please remember to follow all recommended health guidelines, help others when you can, and look forward to the next time we’re able to join each other on the water.

Together, we will get through this—and come out on the other side stronger than ever.

COVID-19 FAQs

Q: Is my local dealership open?
A: Quicksilver is coordinating with its network of dealers to provide the best customer service while following all recommended health guidelines and regulations. Please contact your dealer for hours of operation—they may also have salespeople that can arrange to meet with you virtually. If you are unable to reach your local dealer, we may be able to help you make a connection.

Q: Are you still manufacturing boats?
A: With the safety and health of our employees, their families and the community in mind, and in line with CDC, state, and local guidelines, we suspended Quicksilver boat manufacturing in March. During that period, some operations were performed by staff working from home. We used this time to put in place comprehensive measures that have enabled us to safely restart operations on April 14.

Q: What safety measures have you implemented for employees who return to work?
A: Our safety protocol for each facility is extensive, including heightened measures like temperature screenings upon entry, additional personal protective equipment, social distancing practices, and enhanced cleaning protocol.

Q: Where can I obtain service or find replacement parts?
A: Please contact your local Quicksilver dealer for questions regarding replacement parts or scheduling a time for boat maintenance when they re-open.

Q: How can I shop for a boat?
A: If your local Quicksilver dealership’s showroom or boat yard is not currently open, you can still shop online. Use the product configurator, visit our YouTube page for video walk-throughs, or contact your local dealer to set up a virtual visit.

Q: Is it safe to go boating now?
A: We advise that you follow local and state guidelines to understand boating and boat ramp access during this time. When proper safety protocol is followed, boating can be enjoyed alone or with members of your household while practicing social distancing. Use your best judgement, considering the public safety, when deciding whether to go boating.
