Purpose

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and other tracking technologies are, how Brunswick Corporation, and any affiliated or subsidiary company, (“Brunswick,” “us,” “our,” or “we”) uses them, and what consent rights exist.

For further information on how we use, store, and keep your personal data secure, see our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use, which are intended to be read together with this Cookie Policy.

Applicability

This Cookie Policy applies to cookies, and other tracking technologies on any Brunswick —including affiliated or subsidiary company—website or application (collectively, the “sites”). By continuing to browse or use our sites, you agree that we can store, and access cookies and other tracking technologies as described in this Cookie Policy.

Policy

What are cookies and other tracking technologies?

Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device as you are browsing. They are processed and stored by your web browser. In and of themselves, cookies are harmless and serve crucial functions for websites. Cookies can be easily viewed and deleted.

Other tracking technologies include web beacons, pixels, clear gifs, and other similar technologies. These work similarly to cookies and place small data files on your devices to monitor your website activity. This monitoring is used to collect information about how you use our sites and allows our sites to recognize your device separately from those of other users of the sites.

The information in this policy about cookies also applies to other tracking technologies.

You can find more information at www.allaboutcookies.org and www.youronlinechoices.eu.

What types of cookies and other tracking technologies does Brunswick use?

In general, there are three different ways to describe cookies: 1. Origin; 2. Duration; and 3. Purpose.

The best way for you to exercise your rights about cookies, is with the Purpose descriptor.

How do I exercise my rights regarding the use of cookies?

You have several options to set your consent preferences for cookies.

You can stop cookies from being downloaded on your device by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. Most browsers will tell you how to stop accepting new cookies, how to be notified when you receive a new cookie, and how to disable existing cookies. You can find out how to do this for your browser by clicking “help” on your browser's menu or by visiting www.allaboutcookies.org. Please note, however, that without cookies you may not be able to access or take full advantage of all our site's features.

Most browsers allow users to use a “private mode” by which cookies are deleted after your website visit. Please read the help section of your browser to learn more about how to activate the “private mode.” You can still visit our sites if your browser is in “private mode;” however, the user experience may not be optimal, and some utilities may not work.

If you want to remove previously stored cookies, you can manually delete them at any time. However, this will not prevent the sites from placing further cookies on your device unless and until you adjust your browser setting as described above. Please visit the help pages of your browser for additional information.

You can personalize your cookie preferences (except for strictly necessary cookies, which are required for site performance) on our sites by clicking on the “cookie settings” banner which appears on the site when it is opened. You can always access your cookie preferences by scrolling to the bottom of any of our sites and clicking on the Do Not Sell/ Do Not Share My Data link.

Exceptions to this policy are permissible only in those instances where a risk assessment examining the implications of being out of compliance has been performed, where a standard risk exception has been submitted by the Information Owner or management, and where the exception has been approved by the Chief Information Security Officer and/or the Sr. Director of Cyber Privacy.
