The Quicksilver Activ 675 Open is awarded European Powerboat of the Year 2011.

The Quicksilver team is absolutely delighted that the 675 Open has received this prestigious award. This annual award is made by a specialist jury consisting of the editors-in-chief of the seven leading European powerboat magazines.

The judges test all innovative products from the powerboat industry over the previous 12 months.

The judging panel granted this award to the Quicksilver Activ 675 Open for three key areas:

  • Best combination of Safety, Design and Versatility
  • Best value, price quality ratio
  • Best innovative design: new perspective and intelligent use of available space

Mark Paulhus, Head of our Design and Engineering team said:  "We wanted to create a boat that can switch easily from water sports, to cruising, to relaxing.  We wanted to offer our customers the very best styling and comfort.  And we wanted to provide the best practical features such as storage and class-leading safety characteristics.   It looks like the judging panel feel we have achieved these objectives on the Activ 675.  We are extremely pleased".
